Donnie Kehr is an American actor, having originated roles in Broadway's Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot, the Who's-Tommy, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Human Comedy and many others.
His film credits include Jersey Boys directed by Clint Eastwood, Wall Street, Chaplin with Robert Downey Jr and more. Television credits include, House of Cards, Gotham, Quantico, Tales of The City, Z-The Beginning of Everything & Inventing Anna. He has performed on the Tonight Show, David Letterman, Good Morning America, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Oscars.
A veteran musician-singer-songwriter and instrumentalist - Donnie co-founded the band Urgent on EMI-Manhattan records in 1984 and reached billboards top 100 with the album entitled Cast the First Stone which sold over 400 thousand copies. Currently Donnie has a new album of original songs being released entitled Beautiful Strange available soon on all music platforms. Beautiful Strange is a follow up to his well-received album “Shift” in 2003.
His Directing / Producing credits include "Rockers on Broadway" New York Concert Series, The 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert of The Who's T'ommy on Broadway, and the opening ceremonies for the 2009 Maccabi Games at Madison Square Garden. He received a Best Director of a musical nomination at The Midtown International Theatre Festival in 2013. Currently Mr. Kehr is proud to be the Creator and Executive Producer of The Greatest Piano Men.
